Impact on Libraries
Libraries, along with other businesses, are required to have website accessible to those with disabilities under the ADA. The proposed legislation will amend the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to allow for the owner/entity 60 days to respond to a notice of website access compliance issues. If the business does not respond or make corrective action, then legal action already enshrined in law can commence.
